Detroit police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect who allegedly broke into a home last month on Detroit's west side.
On Sept. 5 at about 9:45 p.m., police said the suspect approached a home on the 6700 block of Longacre Street.
A 47-year-old woman exited the home and ran to safety when she saw other suspects enter through her backyard, police said.
When the woman returned home, she found her home broken into. She was not injured.
Police did not say if anything was taken in the home invasion.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Detroit Police Department at 313-596-5640 or CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.
