Detroit Police seek identity of suspect in non-fatal shooting on city's west side

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit Police need help identifying and locating a suspect involved in a non-fatal shooting on the city's west side.

On Feb. 7 around 2:15 p.m., a 28-year-old male victim was shot on the 15000 block of Stout Street. The suspect was seen exiting a silver sedan before walking up to the victim and firing several shots at him. Police say the suspect then ran north on Stout and got back into the passenger side of the sedan, which sped off westbound on Midland Street.

The suspect is described as a black man about 20 to 25 years old, 6-feet tall, wearing an all gray hooded jogging suit and red gym shoes.
