The Detroit Police Department will show their commitment to families of fallen officers Friday evening.
Officers will recognize students and parents during the Belleville Tiger's Varsity Senior Night on the football field at 6 p.m. The Senior Night honors the senior class for their scholarly and community accomplishments.
This year, two seniors are without their fathers -- Lauren Hill's father Officer Patrick Hill and Jaden Johnson's father Officer Waldis Johnson.
Detroit officers will fill in to cheer on these students.
