"We wanted to create something that embraced, not only Detroit, but metro Detroit," says Colin McConnell.
That's how he came up with the idea for his new store, Metro D.
The pop-up shop sells belts, scarves, jewelry, clothes, food and much more. Everything is made or produced in metro Detroit.
“Detroit has this amazing passion and energy and so does Michigan where we love our state, we love our cities and we’ll share it by either supporting locally or wearing locally," says McConnell.
Metro D store is located in the Village of Rochester Hills.
