An attempted murder inside a home filled with children. One man was shot four times, and police say it's a miracle no one else was hurt. That puts Calvin Mabins at the top of Detroit's Most Wanted list.

"These four bullets he shot could have landed anywhere and hit anybody – fortunately a child wasn’t hit but it could have been a lot worse," U.S. Marshals DFAT Supervisor Deputy Aaron Garcia said.

The children were as young as two weeks old and played inside the home on the city's east side when the shooting happened.

Marshals say the victim came to pick his child up and started asking questions because the child had a mark on her face.

The victim is too afraid to speak because we're told Mabins has made new threats on social media.

"They share the same child’s mother – they both have children with the same mother – he takes offense to it and according to the investigation and the interviews, what we know or what we believe – he takes offense to this and he starts shooting at him," Garcia added.

He was shot once in each leg, the hip and the hand. He said he lost his job and his life is in shambles after the brutal attack.

Deputies say Mabins is hanging out on the west side of Detroit and they just missed him by hours a few days ago. The family is not cooperating with law enforcement.

As always, there's a cash reward for any information leading to Mabins' arrest. You can call the U.S. Marshals at 313-234-5656.
