Detroit show added to Judas Priest's 50th anniversary tour

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Judas Priest will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with a world tour that's coming to Detroit.

The heavy metal band will perform at the Fox Theatre on Sept. 23 at 7:30 p.m, featuring Sabaton as openers for the "50 Heavy Metal Years Tour."

Tickets start at $29.50 and go on sale Friday, Feb. 28 at 10 a.m.

"Performing a blistering cross section of songs from our lives in metal - we can’t wait to raise horns with you again at this once in a metal lifetime event!”
