DETROIT (WXYZ) — For Grant Henderson, it's about paying it forward.

His Detroit-based brand, Greatness The One, is committed to inspiring people to be great through streetwear fashion. He hosts pop up shops showcasing the products and uses the proceeds to pour back into his community.

The 4th annual Greatness holiday pop up, called "The Coldest Pop Up Shop" will be held Thursday, Dec. 19 from 7-10 p.m. at Nojo Kicks on Library Street in Detroit.

Henderson and his team will debut exclusive Greatness merchandise during the event, as well as raffle off free Greatness items and a pair of rare Air Jordan courtesy of Detroit sneaker boutique, Nojo Kicks.

A portion from each sale and raffle will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Southeastern Michigan, according to event organizers. Their goal is to help support youth throughout the metro Detroit area.

“The Greatness December Pop Up Shop is a creative, and unique way to bring the Detroit area all under one roof to have fun, network, give back to the community and walk away with amazing products.” said Grant Henderson, Founder of Greatness The One LLC

All ages are welcome to the event, but attendees must be 21 and up to drink.

Henderson also founded the Angelo B. Henderson Scholarship, in honor of his late father, a Pulitzer-Prize winning journalist and Detroit minister. Proceeds from past pop ups have gone to supporting and maintaining his father's legacy.
