Taco lovers rejoice! The Detroit Taco Festival is happening on Saturday, Aug. 12 at the West Riverfront Park near Joe Louis Arena.
More than two dozen restaurants are scheduled to participate in the event. General admission tickets cost just $12 and it gets you inside the event, where you can try $2 tacos, as well as margaritas, beer, water and pop.
You have to purchase tokens for $2 each and use those as cash.
VIP tickets are $50 and include a tequila expo wristband, 10 tokens, private bar, private area and private restroom.
It runs from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Participating restaurants include MEX, Hot Taco Detroit, Honcho, Frita Batidos, Tijuana's Mexican Kitchen and many more.
