Tigers help support city's no kill dog rescue

Posted

If baseball fans want to see the Tigers take on the Indians Saturday, April 23, at Comerica Park, they'll also have the opportunity to support Detroit Dog Rescue - the city's only no-kill dog shelter.

Each year, Detroit Dog Rescue helps hundreds of dogs go from homeless, neglected and abused to living in safe, loving homes.

And even just a single dollar can help feed a shelter dog for one day.

The Detroit Tigers are giving a portion of tickets to Saturday afternoon's game to Detroit Dog Rescue when you go to Tigers.com/dog to purchase your tickets.

A matching t-shirt and dog bandana will also be mailed as a thank you for your support.
