(WXYZ) — A Detroit woman is buying back her neighborhood -- one brick at a time.
On Monday, we'll introduce you to Nya Marshall. She's investing in the neighborhood she grew up in -- and she's not stopping there.
Marshall bought a building, five blocks from West and Indian Village in Detroit and she plans to open a farm to table restaurant.
But she's not stopping there. This female entrepreneur has big plans and wants to help other people buy back their block.
There is a big push in Detroit to help residents gain access to available credit and low interest loans.
7's Andrea Isom has the story Monday on 7 Action News at 6.
