(WXYZ) — A Detroit woman in her 90s has been confirmed as the fifth COVID-19 death in Michigan, according to the Detroit Health Department.

The health department says the elderly woman passed away Friday.
The number of COVID-19 cases in Michigan has reached 787, according to new numbers released by the state on Saturday. That's up 236 from days before. In total, six people have died from the novel coronavirus – three total in Detroit, now two in Oakland County and another in Wayne County.
