DETROIT (WXYZ) — The grandmother of Lynnette Parker, who was last seen in December 2018, says she's still hopeful her granddaughter will come back home.

Lynnette, 23, was reported missing back in December by her brother Deshawn Parker. He told Detroit police that he last spoke to his sister over the phone on Dec. 28, 2018 at 2:17 p.m. After that day, Deshawn says he had not had any contact with his sister.

According to a serious missing persons report sent out in January, Lynnette had never gone missing before, which is why Deshawn is concerned for his sister's safety.

Lynette's grandmother, Betty Parker, says she's concerned Lynnette may be a victim of human trafficking.

Lynnette is described as a black female. She's 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighs 136 pounds. She has a light complexion, brown eyes, brown hair. She was possibly wearing a black coat with fur around the hood, black leggings and pink and white Fila gym shoes.

The 23-year-old is reportedly in good physical and mental condition. If you have information on Lynnett Parker's whereabouts, please contact the Detroit Police Department's Fifth Precinct Investigative Unit at 313-596-5540.
