LANSING, Mich. (WXYZ) — A Detroit woman hit a $100,000 Powerball jackpot after buying a ticket last month at a Southfield gas station.

According to the Michigan Lottery, 32-year-old Shauntenese Barnett matched four of the white balls and the Powerball in the Jan. 29 drawing to win a $50,000 prize. Her prize was multiplied by two.

She bought her ticket at the Citgo gas station near 10 Mile and Lahser in Southfield. She said she plays the Powerball and Mega Millions regularly and had a handful of tickets to check.

"It still doesn't feel quite real. As soon as that check hits my bank account, that's when I will finally believe this isn't a dream," Barnett said.

She said she plans to use her winnings to start a dental business, take a vacation and then save the remainder.
