DETROIT (WXYZ) — One of Detroit's most beloved attractions is signaling the start of the holiday season Wednesday.
Ahead of the Downtown Detroit Partnership’s Winter in the Parks kickoff, crews will be on-site at Campus Martius Park setting up the city's annual Christmas tree.
Detroit's 60-foot-tall, Michigan-grown Norway spruce from the Cadillac region of Northern Michigan will arrive Nov. 4 around 12:30 p.m. and be carefully lifted by crane and positioned in Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit.
