(WXYZ) — Dairy Queen is giving away free cones later this month, all for a good cause. The company is giving away the free cones on March 20 to benefit Beaumont Children's, a local affiliate of the Children's Miracle Network.
For every cone DQ serves on Free Cone Day, guests are invited to make a donation, and all money raised will stay in Michigan.
There are dozens of locations across metro Detroit that are giving away the ree cones, and you can see them in the map below.
"We are grateful to the Dairy Queen organization for their generous support extended to Beaumont Children's and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals,” said Brian Berman, M.D., pediatrician-in-chief of Beaumont Children’s. “Support like this helps us immeasurably in our mission to provide advanced care to the ones that matter most - the children and families of our community."
