DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Dix Avenue Bridge over the Rouge River will temporarily close to vehicle traffic, Wayne County officials announced.
Officials said warm temperatures on Monday caused the bridge to swell, preventing it from lowering.
The bridge is expected to remain closed through Tuesday morning’s commute.
The Wayne County Roads Division will try to lower the bridge Tuesday when temperatures are cooler, officials said.
