DETROIT (WXYZ) — The Detroit Medical Center is offering free health screenings Tuesday.
The event will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, and will include fitness demonstrations, free screenings and health education.
Those who cannot attend Tuesday's expo can attend another one that will be held on August 24 at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.
The screenings are part of DMC's partnership with local churches for the Get Healthy Expo tour. The first expo was held in May. The screenings are supported by DMC physicians, nurses, technicians and volunteers who provide information, demonstrations, health screenings and insurance enrollment support.
