MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) — The owner of a pit bull and a Madison Heights firefighter were taken to the hospital after being bitten by the dog Thursday.
The incident happened on Brettonwoods Street near I-75 and 11 Mile Road.
Officials say the fire firefighter was injured while trying to help the owner who was being attacked by the dog inside the home.
