(WXYZ) — A dog is heading back to his owner after he was found in Michigan nearly 1,500 miles away from home.
The dog, Blue, disappeared from Lehigh, Florida, near Fort Myers and somehow made it all the way to Midland County, Michigan.
He ended up at the Humane Society as a stray. He was microchipped and his owner was found.
Blue's owner said she doesn't know anyone in Michigan and thinks he was stolen.
The Humane Society arranged a safe ride home for him.
