A puppy named after fallen Wayne State University Sgt. Collin Rose has been adopted by another police officer, according to a Facebook post by Detroit Dog Rescue.
The puppy, Rose, will start training as a narcotics police dog.
The post reads: "Her new big brother is also a police dog and is already showing her the ropes."
Rose was killed in the line of duty in late November.
