Dog nearly killed by abuser healed up, looking for forever home

Posted

It was a horrible case of animal abuse in Detroit that sparked international support for a dog named Baron. Now, the Rottweiler is healed up and looking for his forever home.

Anna Chrisman, with the Michigan Humane Society, says what happened to baron may be one of the worst cases of animal abuse she's ever seen.

When Baron was found wandering the streets of southwest Detroit, he was suffering from horrific and downright cruel injuries. Someone cut off his nose, ears and part of his tale.

The humane society says dozens of people have lined up to adopt Baron, and they have narrowed it down to about six families.
