TAYLOR, Mich. (WXYZ) — Eastbound I-94 at Ecorse is back open to traffic Saturday after a serious traffic crash investigation in Taylor.
On Aug. 22 around 2 p.m., troopers responded to westbound I-94 and Telegraph Road in the city of Taylor for a serious injury crash.
Preliminary information revealed the the driver of a Ford SUV was traveling eastbound I-94 when the driver lost control and crossed the center median. The vehicle went airborne and struck a Penske truck. The SUV overturned, and the driver was ejected, MSP says.
When troopers and EMS arrived on scene the male driver was unconscious but breathing. There have been no updates on the drivers medical condition.
There were no other injuries, according to troopers.
Investigation is ongoing.
