FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) — Get ready for a real musical theatre treat.
"The Drowsy Chaperone" opens Friday at the Farmington Players Barn in Farmington Hills.
It's a show within a show, and billed as an old fashioned musical with a new twist.
It's narrated by "A man in a chair," who recalls his favorite Broadway show. And suddenly, it comes to life in his living room.
The plot involves a Broadway star who wants to quit the show to get married and a wacky producer who tries to stop her.
