Wyandotte Police arrested a Lincoln Park mother for operating a vehicle while intoxicated over the holiday week.
Police say an officer was sitting in his patrol car at the Wyandotte Police Department, when a Chrysler 300 came speeding through the parking lot, nearly hitting the cop car.
The officer then observed the mother "drive erratically" through the parking, then run the red light at Biddle and Ford.
According to police, the woman showed several signs of being drunk when pulled over by the officer. The woman failed her sobriety test and refused to take a breath test.
The officer also saw the woman's 8-year-old son in the backseat at the time of the incident.
The mother was arrested for operating while intoxicated and police later discovered she had two prior drunk driving offenses.
