An update from DTE Energy reports that about 14,000 customers in Southeast Michigan are still without power, as of 10:30 am Friday.

About 18,000 customers across Southeast Michigan were without power due to strong winds, according to DTE Energy.
The outages were reported around 6:30 a.m. Friday.
High winds nearing 40 to 45 mph overnight caused hundreds of power across DTE Energy’s service area.
"The storm impacted more than 37,000 customers, and DTE crews have restored power to 19,000 customers so far. With strong winds forecast through 10 a.m., additional outages could occur," the company said.
