According to DTE Energy, there are currently 24,000 customers without power in the metro Detroit area as of Saturday.

Overall, 75,000 customers lost power Friday due to storms and high wind. Remaining customers should have power restored by the end of the day Saturday.

DTE reminds customers that they should stay at least 20 feet away from any fallen wire and assume all downed wires could be live wires.
