(WXYZ) — More than 1,000 DTE Energy employees are working to restore power to thousands of customers in Southeast Michigan.
As of Wednesday morning, power has been restored to 50,000 of the 60,000 customers impacted by ice and high winds overnight Monday through Tuesday.
DTE expects to restore power to the remaining 10,000 customers no later than end of day Wednesday.
