DTE: 9,000 customers remain without power following storms in metro Detroit

(WXYZ) — Severe storms on Wednesday have caused major outages, scattered throughout the metro Detroit area.

As of 4:30 a.m. Friday, 9,985 customers remain without power, per DTE's website.

As of 6:30 a.m. Thursday, the DTE Energy Outage Map reports 11,645 customers were without power.

DTE reported 16,359 outages around 10:58 p.m. Wednesday. There are 140 crews in the field working to restore power, according to DTE's website.
