Trenton Police are investigating after an 88-year-old woman is scammed with pornographic images.
The woman told police she was scrolling the newspaper online when separate browser opened, with pornographic images.
According to Trenton Police, the woman said there was also a phone number on the website, with technical support to ‘clean’ her computer.
She said she called the number and the person that answered claimed to work for a technical support company. The ‘representative’ offered her a plan for a years worth of support on two separate computers. She agreed and gave her credit card number over the phone.
The 88-year-old woman told police she realized she was being scammed, she canceled her card and reported the incident to Trenton PD.
