WESTLAND, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Eloise Asylum in Westland has been experiencing a wave of break-ins recently, its owners said in a Facebook post.

The owners are reminding the public that the asylum is private property and those caught on the property will be ticketed for trespassing.

The asylum owners said they have been working with Westland police to issue citations for trespassing and vandalism. They said some trespassers have already been identified.
