(WXYZ) — Marshall Mathers, better known as Eminem, marked 11 years of sobriety on Saturday with a touching Instagram post.
The rapper posted a photo holding his sobriety coin in his palm with the caption, "11 years – still not afraid."
The post was met with congratulatory comments and words of continued support.
The Michigan native detailed his battle with addiction in the 2013 documentary film "How to Make Money Selling Drugs." Eminem spoke candidly about his addiction to prescription pills, stating that his "rock bottom" was going to be death.
