Excitement builds for Batman vs. Superman

Whether you are team Batman or team Superman, you will love the new Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie. That's because much of it was filmed here in Michigan.

Movie-goers are excited to see it.

Jack Sobotka said, "Batman is super strong."

His friend, Danny Ahlquist agreed, "He has no powers but he is still super powerful."

The film hits theaters and movie-goers are excited to see Motor City transform to Gotham City.

Emily Alhquist said, "I heard they did a lot downtown so we are looking forward to that. That will be fun."

Jessica Crabtree added, "Put Michigan out there and have good things."

One scene was shot at the art museum on Michigan State's campus in East Lansing.

The Michigan Film & Digital Media Office released an app with a self-guided tour to a dozen Detroit locations from the movie.

Detroit Experience Factory will be visiting the downtown filming locations on their Free Downtown Walking tours Saturdays at 2 p.m. & Fridays at 12 p.m. starting tomorrow.
