(WXYZ) — Family members are mourning after two young friends were killed in a traffic crash in Chesterfield Township on Wednesday night.
According to police, 21-year-old David Vasilevski and 22-year-old Ashley Machuta of New Baltimore were killed in the crash. Both were in a Cadillac CTS-V.
Police say the Cadillac lost control on westbound 23 Mile, crossed over the center turn lane and collided with a Dodge Ram 1500. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
The 19-year-old driving the Dodge was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
