Family tells story of Grosse Pointe man that died of common genetic disorder

GROSSE POINTE, Mich. (WXYZ) — A young man from Grosse Pointe in the prime of his life passed away. Twenty-nine-year-old Alex Marshall had a common genetic disorder called Factor 5 Leiden.

It has proven time and again that it can be deadly.
