Fans react to increased security at the Big Game

Inside the Big House, all eyes were on the field as the big in-state rivalry is underway. But outside, all eyes were on keeping fans safe. 

Police vehicles lined all sides of the Big House. Fans say it was hard to ignore. But, in light of the Las Vegas shooting, they say it was very much welcome. 

Michigan and Michigan State fans reacting to an increase in security tonight after threatening letters were sent to Michigan State University's athletic department. Police were taking no chances following the Las Vegas shooting where 58 people were killed and more than 500 were injured. 

Fans say they're okay with an increase of security. Others say the threat may have caused them to stay home. 

Streets were blocked off at every corner here in Ann Arbor. 

As for how to prevent threats like this from happening, some fans here say they assumed it was a prank. 

Other fans we spoke with say it usually gets a little rowdy outside of the stadium. But because of the police presence, the joking was very respectful. 

They say they're bracing for what could be the most dangerous part of the night--the wild weather.
