Farmington Hills Police are investigating "numerous" car larcenies in the southeast area of the city.
Officers say the incidents appear to have happened overnight. The targeted vehicles were parked both in driveways and on the street. Some vehicles were forced open and other vehicles were not locked.
Many of the cars were ransacked and had items stolen, according to police.
