Farmington police looking for 'suspicious male' who entered home, was confronted by teen resident

FARMINGTON, Mich. (WXYZ) — Police are looking for a suspect who entered an unlocked home in the 21000 block of Birchwood on Thursday, and fled after being confronted by a teenage resident inside at the time.

The incident happened at 3:40 p.m.

When the teen confronted the suspect, he immediately fled.

The suspect is described as a thin white man with dark brown or black, short hair. He has a scruffy goatee and was wearing a dirty black jacket with a hood.

Farmington police want to remind resident to keep their doors locked even if they are home, and to report suspicious activity to the police.
