GARDEN CITY, Mich. (WXYZ) — A man is left looking for answers after his ATVs and his grandson's dirt bike were taken from his garage early Monday morning in Garden City.
That man says he can't believe his garage was broken into and all of the dirt bikes belonging to him, his sons and grandson, along with ATVs, were taken. Now he wants them back and is hoping the public can help.
Under the darkness in the over night hours Sunday into Monday morning, Alexander Bucko became a recent victim of theft.
The thieves were caught on a neighbors surveillance camera taking the ATVs and Bucko's grandson's dirt bike from his garage.
"I felt violated," Bucko said. " That's my kids stuff. I don't ride with my friends, I ride with my kids and yea, it hurt."
He filed a police report with Garden City Police Department. Bucko says what was taken was more than just fun toys, but months of hard work and an opportunity to spend quality time with his son and grandson.
"I buy them a few at a time," Bucko said. "Save my money so we can all ride and we do that every summer, maybe twice, twice maybe even and we all have a good time, and now we. Any do that this year cause they’re gone."
