FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) — Como's restaurant in Ferndale will be holding its grand reopening Monday.

The restaurant, at Nine Mile and Woodward, was shut down by the Oakland County Health Department because it was "unable to maintain a safe and clean environment."

It is now under new ownership and managers say the building has been completely renovated, inside and out.

Como's will serve Detroit-style pizza and have two bars for customers.

The restaurant is holding a pre-opening event Friday and Saturday night for friends and family ahead of the grand reopening on Monday.
