Fiat Chrysler is recalling 443,712 heavy-duty pickups and medium-duty pickups to inspect and replace water pumps.
FCA issued the recall after it was determined that the water pumps could overheat in certain conditions posing an engine-compartment fire.
Affected models include the 2013-2017 Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups and 3500,4500 and 5500 chassis cabs.
There have been no reports of injuries or accidents.
Customers are urged to contact dealers if any warning lights appear in the vehicle cluster. Customers who are affected by the recall will be notified when service becomes available.
