(WXYZ) — It has been a wet and cool spring across Metro Detroit. In fact, it was the 15th wettest on record with 11.89" of rainfall recorded from March 1 until the end of May.
We just haven't had much of a break from the frequency of rainy days over the past two months.
This week may prove to be different. We are overdue for a nice stretch of dry weather across Metro Detroit.
Yesterday, June 2, was rain-free in Detroit and the forecast is looking dry through today with only a slight rain chance late Tuesday night.
If we squeeze in three consecutive dry days in Detroit, it will be the first time since the beginning of April!
