Wondering what to dress up as on Halloween? You don't want the holiday to sneak up on you, so make time to find the right costume!
Amy Jaynes is a Spirit Halloween Store Manager.
"It's better to come earlier in the week and earlier the season," she said.
Stores, like Spirit Halloween, have been popping up for the season and stocking up on popular costumes.
"Superheroes, those are very popular. Shimmer & Shine for the toddlers, Paw Patrol and PJ Masks."
You would think with the presidential election right around the corner, masks looking like the candidates would be flying off the shelves... but they aren't.
Costumes made for gamers are!
"Warcraft, the Fallout, Mario brothers and Pokémon."
With the recent clown scares around the country, you make want to think twice before dressing up as one.
Jaynes said, "Parties and Halloween only. That's it. Don't need to be doing anything else."
Hollywood determines which costumes will be popular every year. "There's always one costume that is sold out very quick, especially online."
That costume is Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad. But people go batty over classics or comic book characters.
If you are making a costume yourself, there are makeup and accessories for that final touch.
And don't forget the decorations! "Cerberus the three headed dog, everyone likes him and the swinging skeleton boy, he is very popular as well."
Just don't be too scary...
"We have a lot of kids that come in but don't want to come in."
The only thing scarier than this... not being ready for Halloween.
And once you get to the cash register, Spirit Halloween will ask for a donation for their Spirit of Children charity - which helps throw Halloween costumes at children's hospitals around the country.
