There's a meeting in Livonia tonight about Ford Motor Company's plans to drill and test groundwater in the city.
The automaker says it found vinyl chloride outside its transmission plant on Plymouth Road.
The chemical is known as a cancer-causing substance.
Ford will begin testing groundwater on Tuesday.
Concerned residents can attend the meeting tonight at the Ford facility on Plymouth Road. It starts at 5 p.m.
