Detectives with the Pinellas County Florida Sheriff's Office says a U.S. Army veteran is dead after a shooting at a bar.
The accused shooter is a former Detroit area cop.
The incident happening early this morning. Deputies saying Brian Mytych had recently been told not to return to the bar, after an altercation with an employee.
He allegedly returned early this morning, this time with a gun. He shot a cook multiple times.
Deputies say he told the other patrons to leave and waited for deputies to arrive to arrest him.
Mytych was previously employed at the Detroit Police Department for five years. He then went to work for the Westland Police Department, where he spent 13 years before being recently terminated.
