SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — The Southfield Police Department is helping families practice gun safety by giving out free gun locks on Saturday, March 6.
The giveaway is in partnership with Kroger and 411 Therapy.
Free gun locks will be given out to Kroger shoppers between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. The store is located at 19855 W. 12 Mile Road, near Evergreen Road.
Southfield police officers will also complete quick demonstrations on how to use the gun locks properly.
