DETROIT (WXYZ) — Funeral arrangements for Bob Berg, well-known press secretary for former Detroit Mayor Coleman A. Young., have been announced.
A public visitation will take place May 16 from 1 to 8 p.m. at Swanson Funeral Home, 14751 W. McNichols Road.
Berg's funeral will be May 17 at 1 p.m. at Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church, 8625 E. Jefferson Ave.
Services will also take place in Berg's home state of Illinois.
A funeral is scheduled for May 20 at 6 p.m. at Cissna Park United Methodist Church, 221 W. Koplin Ave., Cissna Park, IL 60924. A burial will follow at Floral Hill Cemerety, 301 W. Main St., Hoopeston, IL 60943.
Berg died at his home after battling cancer.
