Funeral arrangements have been released for former WXYZ anchor and longtime Detroit newsman Rich Fisher.
Fisher died on Friday. He was 67 years old.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors at 1368 N. Crooks Rd. in Clawson. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Fisher began his career in 1968 in Alpena, Michigan. He worked at WXYZ-TV from 1979 to 1990 before moving to WJBK-TV and WKBD-TV.
He is survived by his children, Bill Fisher, Richard Fisher, Stephanie (Bryan) Inman, and Allison Fisher, his brothers, Jim (Lorraine) Fisher and John (Kimmy) Fisher, his granddaughter, Madison James, and his former spouse, Mary Kelso Fisher.
Memorials are appreciated to the Foundation for American Veterans or a charity of the donor's choice.
