A beloved Detroit Free Press sports columnist will be laid to rest today.
Drew Sharp died unexpectedly last week at age 56 of hypertensive cardiovascular disease.
Visitation begins this morning at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral at 11 a.m.
Both will take place at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church on North Adams Road in Bloomfield Hills.
Sharp's family and friends remember him for being witty, having a powerful voice and of course, for loving sports.
