The lawn and driveway of a home on N. Edgeworth in Royal Oak are filled with hundreds of items for a garage sale.
You can purchase clothes, artwork, housewares, furniture, bicycles, plants and much more. All of the items were donated to Almost Home, a no-kill animal shelter in Southfield.
This garage sale, which runs through Sunday, May 22, is a fundraising event for the organization.
"The organization has thousands and thousands of dollars in medical bills since we never put an animal down. Whatever the cost is for an animal we always put it upfront," says volunteer Melanie Mirisciotti.
The garage sale is located at 1002 N. Edgeworth in Royal Oak. It's going on through May 22 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
