Nearly two months after Gibraltar Trade Center in Mt. Clemens announced it was closing, the market is poised to host its final weekend this weekend.
It will be open until 9 p.m. on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
There will also be special sales for many of the permanent stores inside Gibraltar as they look to get rid of items before it closes for good.
In July, it was announced the 600,000-square-foot center would close after 37 years as the property was sold.
President and CEO said part of the reason for the closure is the impact of online sales on brick-and-mortar businesses and the declining sales forecast.
It was one of two Gibraltar Trade Centers in Michigan, but the one in Taylor closed in 2014.
